Vaporesso GTX Coils
Pack of 5 Mesh Coils
Seven resistance options, one universal platform. The Vaporesso GTX coil range covers every vaping style from tight MTL to full DTL — all with antibacterial mesh technology that delivers clean, consistent flavour from first puff to last.
Vaporesso GTX Coils
The Vaporesso GTX coil range is one of the most versatile replacement coil platforms in UK vaping. Sold in packs of five, these mesh coils are compatible with the full GTX ecosystem — from the LUXE XR MAX and ARMOUR G to the TARGET PM80 and GTX GO series. Choose your resistance to match your device, your wattage, and your preferred vaping style. From airy, cloud-chasing DTL draws at 0.15Ω all the way to smooth, cigarette-like MTL at 1.2Ω, there's a GTX coil built for how you vape.
Find Your Perfect Coil
All GTX coils use mesh heating elements combined with antibacterial flax cotton and non-woven fabric wicking. Select the resistance that matches your device's wattage range and preferred vaping style.
| Resistance | Wattage Range | Best Wattage | Vaping Style | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.15Ω Mesh | 60–75W | 70W | DTL | Big clouds, max flavour intensity |
| 0.2Ω Mesh | 45–60W | 55W | DTL | High-power cloud production |
| 0.3Ω Mesh | 32–45W | 40W | DTL RDL | Balanced clouds and flavour |
| 0.4Ω Mesh | 26–32W | 30W | RDL | Restricted draw, great flavour |
| 0.6Ω Mesh | 20–30W | 28W | RDL | Smooth, moderate vapour |
| 0.8Ω Mesh | 12–20W | 18W | MTL | Tight draw, nicotine salt friendly |
| 1.2Ω Mesh | 8–12W | 11W | MTL | Closest to a cigarette draw |
Why Vapers Choose GTX Coils
Premium GTX Mesh Technology
The mesh heating surface distributes heat evenly across the cotton wick for consistent vapour production, richer flavour, and longer coil life compared to traditional wire coils.
Antibacterial Flax Cotton Wicking
Vaporesso's proprietary blend of antibacterial flax cotton and non-woven fabric wicks e-liquid efficiently and cleanly — delivering fresh, pure flavour from your first puff to your last.
7 Resistance Options in One Platform
From 0.15Ω for serious DTL cloud chasers to 1.2Ω for tight MTL smokers switching to vaping — the GTX range covers every preference without switching devices.
Universal GTX Compatibility
One coil standard across 15+ Vaporesso devices. If it uses the GTX pod or tank system, it uses GTX coils. No guessing, no compatibility headaches.
Pack of 5 — Great Value
Each pack contains five coils, giving you weeks of vaping at a fraction of the cost of replacement pods. At £9.99 per pack, that's under £2 per coil.
Works with Freebase & Nic Salts
Lower resistance options (0.15Ω–0.4Ω) pair best with 50/50 or high-VG freebase liquids; higher resistance options (0.8Ω–1.2Ω) are perfect for nicotine salt e-liquids up to 20mg.
Works With Your Vaporesso Device
GTX coils are compatible with the full range of Vaporesso GTX-platform devices. If your device is listed below, these are your replacement coils.
Not sure if your device is compatible?
Check your device's pod or coil slot — if it accepts GTX coils, the GTX branding will be visible on your existing coil or in your device manual. If in doubt, contact us before ordering.
How to Replace Your GTX Coil
Replacing your GTX coil takes less than two minutes. Follow these steps to avoid dry hits and get the best flavour from your new coil.
Step 1 — Remove the Pod or Tank
Pull your GTX pod or tank away from the device body. Empty any remaining e-liquid if possible to avoid spills.
Step 2 — Remove the Old Coil
Pull the old coil out from the base of the pod or tank — it should slide out with a gentle tug. Dispose of it responsibly.
Step 3 — Prime the New Coil
Apply 3–4 drops of e-liquid directly onto the cotton wick visible through the coil's side holes. This saturates the cotton before use and prevents dry hits.
Step 4 — Insert the New Coil
Press the new GTX coil firmly into the base of the pod or tank until it clicks securely into place.
Step 5 — Fill and Wait
Fill your pod with e-liquid via the fill port, then leave it to stand for 5–10 minutes. This gives the cotton time to fully saturate before your first puff.
Step 6 — Start at Low Wattage
When you first use the new coil, start at the lower end of the recommended wattage range and gradually increase. This "breaks in" the coil and extends its lifespan.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many coils come in a pack?
Each pack contains 5 GTX coils of your chosen resistance. At £9.99 per pack, that works out to under £2 per coil.
Which resistance should I choose?
Choose based on your preferred vaping style and your device's wattage output. DTL vapers wanting big clouds should look at 0.15Ω–0.3Ω. RDL vapers tend to prefer 0.4Ω–0.6Ω. If you want a tight, cigarette-like draw, go for 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω.
Are GTX coils compatible with my device?
GTX coils work with all Vaporesso devices that use the GTX platform — including LUXE XR MAX, ARMOUR G, TARGET PM80, GTX GO 80, GTX GO 40, GEN PT80 S, SWAG PX80, and many more. See the full compatible device list above.
How long does a GTX coil last?
Coil life depends on your vaping frequency, e-liquid sweetness, and wattage used. On average, expect 1–2 weeks per coil with moderate use. Sweet or high-VG liquids can shorten coil life. Signs it's time to replace: burnt taste, reduced flavour, or visible darkening of the cotton.
What e-liquid should I use with GTX coils?
For 0.15Ω–0.4Ω coils, use a 50/50 to 70% VG freebase liquid. For 0.6Ω–1.2Ω coils, a 50/50 liquid or nicotine salt up to 20mg works best. Avoid very sweet or sticky liquids as they reduce coil lifespan.
Do I need to prime GTX coils before use?
Yes — always prime a new coil by dripping 3–4 drops of e-liquid onto the exposed cotton before installing, then fill your pod and wait 5–10 minutes before vaping. Skipping this step is the most common cause of burnt coils.
Are these genuine Vaporesso coils?
Yes. All coils sold at Hulme Vapes are 100% genuine Vaporesso products sourced through authorised UK distributors. We do not stock counterfeit or unbranded coils.
